Growing up on one of the earth’s most beautiful lakes, surrounded by boundless water, wildlife, trees and flora, I did not know or realize at the time, the lake’s energy would shape and transform me to who I am today. As I ran barefoot, swam, and played on the shores, the earth’s energy grounded me to nature’s beauty. Having that unique connection with nature is where creativity was born and continues to flow through me today. Off to College I went, studying Horticulture and Floriculture. My first florist job was at Bachman’s in Minneapolis. This was my introduction to floral design. Girl meets boy. Falls in love. Moves to St. Charles, IL. Had the pleasure of working for Don Robbins for several years at one of his 5 flower shops, Robbins Flowers. The last retail flower shop I worked at was Barrington Flower Shoppe. Girl gets married, has two beautiful boys and lots of boxer dogs!
For the past 25 years, I have freelanced my custom work creating floral gems for weddings and special occasions. Gifted and Guided in this Universe by the Moon, Sun and Stars, I am a Wildflower with infinite energy, always Blooming and Growing.
